Those blessed little clear story windows go in
[/caption]The crew had insullated the garage and were working on gyp rocking (dry walling) the ceiling when I got there. By the end of the day (well, when I left they were still working) they were starting to gyp rock the walls and had installed both people doors in the garage. And Todd was setting the locks. They can now leave their tools locked in the garage on the weekends. The fifth wheel trailer which has housed crew all summer and fall will be leaving Wednesday, lest it get snowed in. A large quanity of snow dumped on the trailer would not be advantageous to the health of trailer.
In preparation for the insulation in the garage, most of the contents were dumped onto the driveway. Amazing how much debrish can accumulate in a garage in a short time.
You may wonder why one of the garage people doors is several feet off the ground? That’s because one is the height of the ramp that will lead onto the breezeway and into the house. I’ll be able to use the powerchair to zip up the ramp, across the breezeway and inside….watch out for Gma Pippa and her hot wheels. The first door was ornery and the second went in like a dream. 1 out of 2…not bad. First there is an opening, then there is a door, and then it’s in.
And those blessed little clear story windows that couldn’t be set because the roof was too icy? In they went today. Hoo haa. No roofing crew appeared. Maybe tomorrow.
Just about time to herd cats into the house, light a fire and watch Jeopardy.
